  1. I had such an intense crush on him, long before I knew why.

  3. It was so sad to hear about him. I liked the Lost Boys and it's sad to see he didn't make it. I was pulling for him after hearing about his series, "The two Coreys".
On another note I'm glad I stopped by to see what your up to. I've missed visiting you. Keep up the good work. Your kinda like a news and entertainment source for me and I like your writing.

  4. @lavonne, Thank you for such a nice comment! Little things like that keep me blogging. I can't believe I missed "The Two Coreys." I hope they will consider showing it again.

I googled Corey Haim today and read that he was involved in an illegal prescription drug ring.

I wonder just how many prescription overdose deaths do we have to have in this country before something gets done about it and people are held accountable. I don't understand why it seems like a "silent epidemic."

  5. It was really sad to hear about this in the news the other day. Stan and I both liked him during his eighties days. I was hoping he would prove everyone wrong, by dealing with his abuse problem, but that is always a day by day fight. It looks like he lost his way one day and that really is sad.

  6. @Kyle, I agree it was very sad news. And you are right--I believe any kind of addiction is a day by day fight. Sometimes it needs to be an hour by hour or minute by minute fight. Drug addiction is so hard to break and it is always sad, when it ends with death.
