Welcome to Lying Ass Tuesday

Hopefully this won't be a regular feature of this blog, but my Gosh I never realized just how much content is on the Internet about lies, and the lying liars who tell them! Sure, we've all probably told a little lie a time or two. Some people though just can't keep from lying.

One of my biggest pet peeves is to hear or read something that I know to be an out and out lie. I was raised not to lie, and I have always tried to remember that. I am constantly amazed at how some people will lie to make themselves look better in the eyes of others. Yes, I have met a few people like that over the years. I'm sure we all have, whether we realize it or not.

Sometimes the truth hurts and a lie is just easier. But it still doesn't make it right. Ultimately, it is the liar that suffers the most, for they must live with themselves knowing that they are a liar. Of course, that would only be true if such a person had a conscious.

There are even hundreds of songs about lies! I put a few of my favorites on todays blog of ten posts that deal with lying. I guess you could call it a theme for today.

This is a "shared" article to tell if someone is lying. The techniques in the article are often used by police and security experts. This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions.

Warning: Sometimes Ignorance is bliss; after gaining this knowledge, you may be hurt when it is obvious that someone is lying to you!

Click the title link to learn more and be able to tell when someone is lying! By the way, it is a little more difficult to tell if someone is lying in their writings than it is in person. Body language is a dead give away and is explained in detail in the article. Finding lies in writing is a little more difficult.

I just love how so many newspaper and various Internet sites are adding a "share" or "share this" button at the end of the articles. I love it so much, that I have a share button at the end of each of my blog posts!

There are many different kinds of share buttons. The one I used to share this information just had a blue plus sign and the word "share." Evidently all it does is add the link at the top automatically. Of course you can edit the automatic post and add stuff like I did. You may have noticed in the past I have "shared" newspaper articles using a "share this" button which is a green icon like a molecular structure. And my favorite type of "share" is the button I use. It's just simple html code you add to your template. You can get it at a website called addthis.com.

It is so easy to use. Once you decide to share something to social networking sites--such as facebook, twitter, myspace, etc., and in this case to blogger, you just make sure you are logged in to both sites and simply click the "share" button and it is instantly spread across the various networking sites.

Next time you read an interesting news article or anything that you would like to share on your blog, try out the share buttons that being used more and more.
