Mariah Carey's latest

It's such a beautiful song, and I remember it well from 1984 by Foreigner. I can't wait for the new album out September 29th! Do you like her remake of this song?

I gotta take a little time
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines
In case I need it when I'm colder

In my life
There's been heartache and pain
I don't know
If I can face it again
Can't stop now
I've traveled so far
To change this lonely life

I want to know what love is
I want you to show me
I want to feel what love is
I know you can show me

Gonna take a little time
A little time to look around me
I've got nowhere left to hide
It looks like love's finally found me

In my life
There's been heartache and pain
I don't know
If I can face it again
Can't stop now
I've traveled so far
To change this lonely life

I want to know what love is
I want you to show me
I want to feel what love is
I know you can show me

Show me
I want to know

I want to know what love is
I want you to show me
I want to feel what love is
I know you can show me

Oh, let's talk about love

i posted that song also to my blog.. too bad the music i put there got banned in youtube.. that one in your post is faster version they have to higher the pitch so that the crawler will be confused to ban the channel because the length of the sountrack is shorter than the original one.. did you notice the voice of Mariah Carey is like a chipmunks. ahihihi...

Wow, I never expected everyone to like it!

@David, me too! Thanks for leaving your comment!

@Larry Ohio, and I can remember playing that cassette at my own parties in my early 20's! The whole album was great!

@Stephen, I agree!

@Allen, glad you love it too! I'm feeling fine now, thanks!

@Darqueangel, what a treat to get a comment from you! Thanks! I had no idea the song was a bit faster on this video! I couldn't tell she sounded like a chipmunk either, but only because I only heard it through my notebook computer (which doesn't have the best sound quality). You should email me your YouTube name so I can subscribe!

Although I like her musicI will say I prefer foreigners version of this song. They had Cheryl Lynn (I believe her name was ) on the background vocals and a choir. I don't thing anyone can top that. She gives it a good try though.

@lavonne, I prefer Foreigner's version too! As a matter of fact I had posted it in February for Valentine's as one of my all time favorite love songs. Thanks to Mariah, the original has been disabled by youtube!
