The San Francisco Chronicle reported today President Obama will end the 15-year-old "don't ask, don't tell" policy that has prevented homosexual and bisexual men and women from serving openly within the U.S. military, a spokesman for the president-elect said.
It's about time. So many other countries have allowed gay people to serve openly in their military for years now. So, we are finally catching up with the rest of the civilized world. Gay people can go overseas and die in combat, but oh no, you cannot marry your gay partner.
