SNL = Saturday Night Lame

Sometimes Saturday Night Live has some funny spoofs of celebrities, but lately they have been down right cruel, or at a minimum, LAME. The most recent show spoofed Rachel Maddow as gay. Isn't that funny? Not!

The show before that one (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08351/935356-42.stm) had a sketch featuring a spoof of New York Governor David Paterson, who happens to be blind. It was not funny how they had him bumbling around in front of people and holding a sign upside down.

Paterson's office said the skit ridiculed people with physical disabilities and implied that disabled people are incapable of having jobs with serious responsibilities. I agree. SNL needs to get their act together or stop having elementary students writing for them.

SNL ceased to be funny years ago. They are just sad now.

I agree, SNL is pretty lame. I stopped watching them after John Belushi died.

Although, it seems that a lot of people loved them when they were ripping Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin apart. For some reason, the Progressive blogosphere thought they were genius' back then. Go figure.
