Lady GaGa takes part in National Equality March

Lady GaGa, an avid supporter of gay rights, is calling on her fans to take action and lend their support to the Equality March. The march begins at noon eastern/1:00 central. “This march is a call to action for all people from all over the country to gather to march to be visible as one and to speak out and demand full equal rights for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered citizens in all 50 states,” says Gaga. CSPAN will be showing the March LIVE, Sunday, October 11, 2009 starts at noon eastern/1:00 p.m. central.

Tonight CSPAN will show President Obama at a Dinner in Washington at 6:50 p.m. Eastern/7:50 p.m. central. President Obama addresses the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) fundraiser, a U.S. gay rights advocacy group. He is likely to remark on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. (CSPAN)

If you missed CSPAN's broadcast of the President's speech at the dinner, you can catch highlights of it tomorrow afternoon. Worth mentioning, the President said HE WOULD END "DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL."
