LaToya's Tribute to Michael

This is LaToya's tribute song to her brother Michael. It will be available on itunes July 28th. I thought I heard that she was giving the proceeds of this to one of Michael's charity's, but I can't confirm that. I didn't have the patience or time though to comb through her personal website to find out if that were true or not. You would think it would be be plain and clear on her site, but it's not.

I'm happy that they were able to reconcile their differences before his death. Enough commentary from me (for now)! I will reply to all comments though.

I like the song. I wonder how Michael's son is taking all this?

I'm really not a LaToya fan...but I do like this song. Go figure.

@thmemom, I don't like the song, but I am a LaToya fan LOL! The songs on her website sonud really good.

@Allen, with two out of two liking the song, maybe it will grow on me. I think all of his kids are having a hard time dealing with their loss. On a better note, I don't know if it is true, but I read somewhere that Janet may end up with custody.

@themom, never was a Latoya fan either but the song has a catchy beat.

@Allen, pictures show them and they look really sad.

@Beth, thanks for adding your comment! I'm always glad to hear what's on your mind

Would you believe I own an old LayToya cd! It must've been her first one. It's in a big box though full of old cd's that I never played much in the last several years.

LaToya Jackson fans rejoice! Her new single and family tribute “Home” is available on iTunes TOMORROW, July 28th!

The song is about remembering and appreciating your family while recognizing how quickly we grow up and often apart. The main message is “no matter what is going on in the world or with your life, you can always go Home”.

As a result of Michael’s tragic death, 100% of the proceeds from this single will be donated to one of Michael’s favorite charities, AIDS Project LA. No profit for the label or LaToya will be made from the release of this song!

@assistant, thanks for the comment and for reminding everyone about the song being dropped to itunes tomorrrow (July 28).

Also big thanks for details about all the proceeds going to AIDS Project LA.

I do wish; however, that you would have provided a link to a back up source confirming about the proceeds going to charity.

Some people may have doubts about this, since it has been reported that LaToya has already been paid by a British tabloid for an interview in which she provided them with a "headline" saying she thought Michael was murdered.

I wish LaToya much success with the fundraising effort and look forward to new music by her in the futhre.
