Excerpt from article:

The United States has lost 26 troops this month, putting it on pace to be the deadliest ever for U.S. forces in the country.

And what have we heard lately from Obama regarding this war? Oh yeah...nothing. What happened to all the war protesters that couldn't express enough outrage over Bush and his illegal wars? But at least we know that Michael Jackson is still dead. That's news....I miss Walter Cronkite. Those were the good ol' days when to be a journalist meant something.

@Mary_Ellen, With ongoing war in both Iraq and Afghanistan I can't keep up. I do know people are dying every day. That should be the top news story every day.

I would challenge any major "news channel" to constantly carry a count of those killed and injured and other stats, since the war started. It would be in your face all the time instead of only reported on a "slow" news day.

I'm surprised there isn't a dedicated news network to covering these wars 24/7 with no other news topic, just the wars. It would be hard to watch, but sure would fire people up again.

Yeah, where's the anti-war people now? It looks like the American people have been sidetracked with all that Obama has going on...too many irons in the fire. Now we know why--it's a distraction from THE WARS!

The copter crash killed innocent civillians, and who knows how many are injured. You would think we would have learned from Russia, that a war in Afghanistan is unwinable.
