I'm not in the least bit surprised that his poll numbers are dropping. Wait until his followers actually read the health care bill that they are going to pass. To give a little hint as to how bad it is...the House voted down an amendment which would make it mandatory that they carry the government health care plan that they are trying to foist on us. Only three Democrats voted for the amendment.

They are going to vote this travesty into law and they KNOW it's a bad bill. It's not good enough for them...but for us? It's ok.

This is the same old story...vote fast, don't give the American people the chance to tell their representatives what they think of it (which is why Obama wants it passed before they leave on their August break and go home to their constituents.) The devil is in the details.

It's funny how none of the news outlets are mentioning that little tidbit about the House voting down that amendment, eh? Remember how Obama said (while campaigning) that the thought we should all be covered by the SAME insurance as they have on Capital Hill? Guess what? It's NOT the same...not even close.

Oh..and that part about how we can keep our private insurance? What are the chances that any company is going to pay into private insurance when they can dump it and tell their employees to sign onto the government plan? And...for those of us with private insurance that has dental and eye care, what are the chances that the new government health care plan will carry dental or eye care? I'd say...no chance.

I hope his numbers keep dropping, at least that will give me some hope that we still have people out there with a functioning brain.

@Mary_Ellen, hi! I was hoping I'd get a thought provoking comment from you...you never disappoint LOL.

Yeah, I've noticed quite a few campaign promises have not been kept.

I don't like how they are trying to rush this through before August!

Also, I'm not so sure this healthcare bill will pass. We'll see.
